The Chandos Heralds are a group of singers from within the Chandos Singers. While the Chandos Singers are named after the Dukes of Chandos, the Heralds take their name from the Chandos Herald who was a contemporary chronicler of the Black Prince. The group have concentrated on performing early works which were composed to demonstrate new theories of sacred composition.
